Valérie Guillard holds a doctorate in management science and is a professor at the University of Paris-Dauphine. Her research focuses on consumer psychology, on consumer practices with regard to second-hand objects, but also on waste, a theme on which she coordinates a research contract funded by ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency). Her research is published in various journals such as Recherche et Applications Marketing, Décisions Marketing, Économie et Société, Esprit, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Macromarketing, Research and Consumer Behavior.
