Title: «Enjeux financiers et comportement des acteurs du viager»

Jean-Baptiste is graduated of a master’s degree in finance. He is also graduated of a master’s degree in applied mathematics and actuarial science. Strongly influenced by the financial crisis while during the summer of 2007 he made his first internship in a banking agency, his studies gave him a taste for research. In 2014 he starts working at the Banque de France as asset liability manager, and he begins a PhD two years later. Jean-Baptiste COULOMB is preparing his PhD in Management Sciences on the lifetime annuities real estate.

This thesis is supervised by Arnaud Simon, Senior Lecturer – Maitre de conférences, with habilitation to direct theses (DRM-FINANCE). This research aims at exploring the financial issues and the actors behavior of the lifetime annuities real estate. The goal is to analyze the image of the lifetime annuities real estate, and to better value the amount of the annuities. Qualitative analysis and financial calculations are carried out for this purpose.
