Postdoctoral Researcher
Management and Ecological Transition

Context and Position:

Université Paris Dauphine - PSL seeks a highly skilled and motivated researcher attached to the Chair CPJ Management and Ecological Transition for a full-time, one-year (renewable) postdoctoral contract focused on ecological transition and sustainability.

The postdoctoral researcher’s primary role will be to engage in research projects on ecological transition, sustainability, and/or sufficiency. Responsibilities will include proposing and conducting joint research projects with the Chair’s team. In their application, candidates should explore potential avenues for collaboration and propose ideas for new joint project development. The candidate will join the Laboratory Dauphine Recherches en Management and will be expected to participate in its research seminars and community life.

The postdoctoral candidate is expected to contribute to advancing knowledge within the broader scope of sustainability. Topics of interest may include, but are not limited to:

  • Sufficiency and consumption, waste, recycling, consumer lifestyle changes
  • The circular economy, the sharing economy, collaborative consumption
  • New ways of working, organizational change for sustainability
  • Ecofeminism, post-growth, post-consumption, bio-social turn, more-than-human approaches
  • Circular business models
  • Sustainable supply chain, digital transformation, CSR, sustainable marketing, smart cities, resilience, etc.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in marketing, management, or organization studies, completed in the three years before the start of the position.
  • Strong proficiency in qualitative analysis and the ability to conduct qualitative research
  • Proven research experience, evidenced by articles, chapters, conference publications, or working papers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a research team
